Implement Phase

During Implement, we develop and, yes, implement the content solutions we recommended at the end of the Organize phase. This might include working with a technology team to ensure that our recommendations and designs are implemented properly within the development of a content management system. Other ongoing efforts of system implementation include specific initiatives for content planning, production, migration, and creation. We can also tailor efforts to help you most effectively roll out the customer content experiences we proposed.

Key Deliverables for Implement Phase

Content Migration Plan and Mapping

  • What is it? This effort contains two parts: the first is a plan that accounts for all your content to be migrated, with resources, timelines, and tracking. The second part is a detailed content and data that indicates what existing content goes where within the future-state design.
  • Why are we doing it? To ensure that all the existing content you want migrated can and will be migrated by the time you launch your new solution.

Content Creation Plan

  • What is it? A plan that identifies all required new content, and that tracks content completion. This plan also plots the new content’s lifecycle and timing for completion. It will include the owner of each step, such as copywriter, legal reviewer, etc.
  • Why are we doing it? To ensure that all your existing content that requires migration, can and will be successfully migrated by the time you launch your new solution.
  •  Who can use it? Content creators, content migration teams and technology teams as they approach and plan for content migration.
